AVON are about to go NOVA with the release of their debut single on H42 Records!

Since blasting onto the scene in late 2015 AVON have made an explosive entrance having released their debut Mad Marco at the start of 2016. This single is their first release since the desert rock debut and is the riff tastic power beat rock that is ’Six Wheeled Action Man Tank!’ The B-side of the vinyl is another stomping piece of sunshine baked desert rock called ’The Kurgan’!

Limited to only 300 copies this exclusive piece of wax will be available from the 15th March on pre-sale from H42 Records and officially released to coincide with AVON playing DesertFest London & DesertFest Berlin  this year.

150 copies will be available in white from the label and 150 copies of the green ’tour edition’ will only be available from the band at any of their tour dates.
The members have been a part of the California desert rock scene for years, so if you haven’t seen them yet they are definitely one to watch.

Drummer Alfredo Hernandez, infamously known to adherents of desert for his contributions to Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Yawning Man and Ché to name but a few, is joined by James Childs of Airbus and Charles Pasarell of Waxy and Lakota.
Avon will show you how it’s done when they bring their raw, psychedelic Cali wisdom to Desertfest London. To support the release of the 7“ Avon will be touring Europe from 27th May until 18th June 2017.
